About the role

The Quality Assurance Analyst II (QAII) is responsible for conducting quality assurance software testing to ensure the integrity of all of Evercast’s client facing and internal facing applications. The QA II, will Support testing efforts within an agile team by executing all levels of testing. The QA II will develop testing plans, ensure adherence to the company’s standards, maintain QA documentation, and communicate with development teams, product owners and customers to suggest improvements. The QA II, will utilize quality auditing tools, identify training needs, and collaborate on effective and efficient methods for accurate and quality system configuration.

The work you’ll do

  • Self-starter; works well on a fast paced team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload. 
  • Supports other team members and shares knowledge.
  • Maintains and implements software Quality Assurance standards and processes.
  • Continuously reviews and provides recommendations for improvement of QA processes and reporting.
  • Define project requirements and deliverables based on scope.
  • Responsible for coordinating testing activities on assigned projects,  including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting.
  • Identify software capability and reliability by conducting functional, system, and performance tests.
  • Create defects when issues are uncovered, with the ability to formalize test results and clearly communicate test findings in defect tickets.
  • Attend Defect triage meetings when necessary to provide additional information related to testing results.
  • Maintains the quality and overall integrity of the test data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with test planning, strategy, test script development and test execution.
  • Experience with software quality assurance methodologies and actual hands-on testing.
  • 2-4+ years QA experience with software testing, developing standards, reporting testing results, and Quality Assurance process.
  • Previous experience in video conferencing, mobile testing, audio testing, color testing or video editing related industries.
  • Strong Software Testing knowledge. 
  • Experience with automated testing a plus.
