2015

where it all began

Evercast was founded by Brad Thomas, Alex Cyrell, and Blake Brinker. As business owners and creatives themselves, they were frustrated by the cumbersome process of producing marketing videos with a remote team—endless feedback loops, misalignment, and a lack of effective tools. With the hunch that others could relate, even at the highest levels of production, they decided to build a solution.

An endeavor for change

Co-founder and veteran film editor Roger Barton, ACE was introduced to Evercast just as he was embarking on a film for Legendary Pictures. As a newly single dad, he’d been seeking a solution for working remotely instead of traveling for months on end away from his family.

With provisional studio approval, Roger edited Godzilla: King of the Monsters remotely—from start to finish—using Evercast. By enabling spontaneous collaboration, Evercast provided more face time with the director, streamlining their process and strengthening creative momentum. Roger saw the technology’s potential to transform not only the lives of other editors, but also the industry at large.

2018

trust spurs momentum

Evercast established its reputation as the trusted remote review software for high-value productions, with ample adoption from major studio and OTT productions, including A Quiet Place, Chernobyl, and Bohemian Rhapsody.
