Evercast Announces Recognition by Motion Picture Association as Trusted Partner for Content Security

Scottsdale, AZ – February 2, 2023 – Evercast, the leading real-time collaboration platform for creative professionals, announced it has been recognized by the Motion Picture Association as an early adopter of their Trusted Partner Network (TPN). The TPN aims to build a secure future for content partners worldwide by increasing security awareness and capabilities throughout the media and entertainment industry. Evercast reinforces its commitment to content security by joining the MPA’s global initiative. The updated program and new TPN+ platform are scheduled to launch officially on February 6, 2023.

Evercast is a secure, real-time collaboration software that combines video conferencing with high resolution, color-accurate content streaming and multi-channel audio.

With security approval from every major Hollywood studio, Evercast has been used in the production of hundreds of tentpole projects, including Top Gun: Maverick, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Queen’s Gambit, Jurassic World Dominion, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Built for creatives by creatives, Evercast allows global teams to optimize their workflows and increase productivity, from pre-production through post-production.

The Trusted Partner Network is an international, industry-wide film and television security initiative. Designed to help companies avoid content leaks and security breaches prior to their intended releases, TPN seeks to raise security awareness, preparedness, and capabilities within the industry. TPN’s proprietary global registry of “Trusted Partner” assessed vendors provides content owners with the information they need to make independent, risk-based decisions.

"As a synchronous collaboration tool used for pre-release content, Evercast is continuously reviewed by scores of studios and production companies,” said Damien Stolarz, CEO of Evercast. “The Trusted Partner Network allows us to rapidly send compliance and security information to clients in a centralized and efficient manner, reducing overhead for everyone involved."

TPN’s original program, launched in 2018, established security benchmarks and on-site security assessments for the entertainment industry. Their recent expansion to cloud workflows will be followed by an enhanced “Gold Assessment Program” launching in Q1 2023, which will enable vendors to measure and report conformity to the industry’s most recognized standards. The program will serve as a single source-of-truth for security information and is intended to reduce the need for multiple vendor audits.

“We are thrilled to welcome Evercast to the growing list of TPN early adopters and partner with them and other TPN members to focus on the safety and security of content,” said Terri Davies, President of TPN. “As we prepare to launch our upgraded program and new TPN+ platform next week, we are maintaining rapid forward momentum for TPN to address large industry challenges. None of this would be possible without the support of our community stakeholders, the content owners, service providers, and assessors.”
